Privacy
Last updated 3 September 2026. This is a personal site, so the short version is that almost nothing is collected, and the parts that are exist to answer you or to count page views.
Who is responsible
Everaldo Bezerra, based in Campinas, Brazil. For anything on this page, write to contato@everaldobezerra.com.
If you use the contact form
It sends your name, email address and company, the message you wrote, and whichever of role, timeline and budget you chose to fill in. It also records which language you were reading, so I reply in the same one.
That arrives as an email in my mailbox. This site has no database of visitors and stores none of it. Delivery is performed by Resend, so the message passes through their systems on the way, and my mailbox is hosted by GoDaddy.
The form also carries a hidden field that real visitors never fill in. If it arrives filled, the submission is discarded as automated. Nothing about you is recorded in that case either.
If you accept analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4, and it loads only after you press Accept on the banner. If you decline, or simply ignore it, nothing is requested from Google at all. That is the whole reason the banner exists rather than a tag in the page.
Once enabled, Google records which pages you open, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and your device and browser, and it sets cookies to recognise the same browser across pages. There is no advertising here, no remarketing, and no tracking of you across other sites.
Kept in your browser only
Two values are stored locally and never sent anywhere:
- theme: whether you chose the light or dark version.
- analytics-consent: your answer to the banner, so it stops asking.
Clearing site data in your browser removes both.
Server logs
The site is hosted by Netlify, which records incoming requests, including IP address and browser, in order to serve pages and protect against abuse. This happens whether or not you accept analytics, because a server cannot answer a request without receiving it.
Why each of these is allowed
- The contact form: you asked me to reply, and I need your message to do it.
- Analytics: your consent, and nothing else. Withdraw it and it stops.
- Logs: the legitimate interest of keeping the site running and secure.
How long it is kept
Messages stay in my mailbox for as long as the conversation is useful, and you can ask me to delete yours at any time. Analytics data follows the retention period configured in Google Analytics, and server logs follow Netlify's own schedule.
Your rights
Under the LGPD in Brazil and the GDPR in Europe you can ask what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for a copy, ask for it to be deleted, and withdraw a consent you gave earlier. Write to contato@everaldobezerra.com and I will answer. You do not need to explain why.
Change your analytics choice
Whatever you answered, you can change it here. This forgets the stored answer and asks again on the next page you open.
Done. The banner will appear again on your next page view.
